The sound of revving engines signals the beginning of another exciting day for All Chemical Transport (All Chem), a family-operated chemical tanker company.

As one of the few Kosher-certified carriers in the Lakewood, New Jersey area, the tankers, facilities, and material handling equipment are diligently maintained, cleaned, and inspected. Between each transport cycle, equipment undergoes thorough cleaning and sanitization procedures, along with heat treatments, to ensure compliance.

“Every step of the process is meticulously planned and executed with the utmost care, from selecting the appropriate containers and tankers to ensuring proper safety measures are in place during loading, transportation, and unloading,” says Anthony Coruccini, COO of All Chem, describing the intricacies handled by its team of highly trained and certified professionals.

Even amid this complex transportation process, the team places a strong emphasis on the safety and integrity of the products they transport, as opposed to just completing deliveries. They ensure a high level of customer satisfaction in every aspect of the service.

This unwavering commitment has earned All Chem a reputation as one of the top chemical trucking firms in the region. With the baton of its legacy now passed to the second generation of leadership, it remains committed to upholding the values that have made it successful.

Success Rooted in its Teamwork

Every client engagement begins by carefully assessing the chemical properties, quantities, and transportation requirements to determine the applicable procedures. It follows a comprehensive set of protocols to minimize risks and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Collaboration with customers ensures their specific needs and preferences are taken into consideration at every stage of the process. It then selects the most suitable containers and tankers from its roster of specialized trucks equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including GPS tracking and onboard cameras.

All Chem maintains a high standard of equipment to ensure deliveries are not affected in any way. It invests in new tools and makes sure its running elements are in top shape. For instance, 36 of its specialized trailers are made of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP), ensuring there is no reaction with corrosive chemicals and guaranteeing safe transportation of hazardous materials. All Chem has also established itself as the first U.S. carrier to operate carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) trailers manufactured by OMNI Tanker. All vehicles are equipped with advanced GPS and tracking systems to accurately estimate delivery times and provide real-time updates to customers.

Rigorous safety measures are implemented during loading, transportation, and unloading.

This includes using specialized equipment and tools, personal protective equipment (PPE), and emergency response plans. All Chem’s teams are highly trained and certified to handle hazardous materials and undergo regular safety training to ensure they remain up-to-date with the latest regulations and best practices.

All Chem spares no expense in upgrading equipment and implementing a comprehensive maintenance facility to assure it’s the most reliable delivery services. Its strict adherence to FMCSA and PHMSA regulations guarantees it performs periodic testing with precision, guaranteeing the safety of its operations.

“We realize that lofty goals of chemical transportation don’t come without hard work. As such, our commitment to our customers includes uncompromising service, the highest safety standards, state-of-the-art technology, advanced driver training, and professionalism throughout our company,” says Coruccini.

Acing the Chemical Transport Game

All Chem excels in the transportation of liquid bulk chemicals, both hazardous and non-hazardous, throughout 48 states. It also skillfully oversees the coordination of ISO containers arriving from international locations, ensuring a seamless transition from overseas shipments to domestic transportation. Picking up containers from the pier and managing their distribution across the country, All Chem provides a comprehensive and efficient service for its clients.

While it deals with Kosher-certified chemicals, it also focuses on three prime industries with consistent demand; water treatment, power, and pharmaceuticals. It supplies chemicals for water processing and waste treatment plants, serves as a house carrier for Con Edison, works with local utilities like Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG), and ships chemicals for the production of pharmaceuticals. Its operational footprint now extends across Texas, the Carolinas, Georgia, Kansas City, and the Chicago area.

All Chem is also recognized for its willingness to take on challenging client requests that it overcomes with its comprehensive one-stop shop approach. Its growth is strongly linked to the demands of both major chemical distributors like Univar, and Brenntag, as well as smaller facilities with unique needs. With All Chem as their provider, they can fulfill all their transportation requirements, including container storage and trans-loading into cargo tanks. In addition, it recently revamped its administrative functions, which led to an improvement in customer service and order intake processes. This enhancement has allowed it to scale up operations and seamlessly handle higher volumes. It is committed to continuously improving its services to meet the evolving needs of customers.

Supporting the Scarcity of Containers

When the demand for container transport surged in the market, All Chem quickly capitalized on the underserved segment, rapidly expanding its business and becoming a leading player in the industry. Its depot houses over 1,200 containers.

Despite the challenges posed by increased port capacity constraints and storage problems, All Chem distinguishes itself by providing top-notch services to its customers. Its leasing services allow clients to rent high-quality tanks that meet their specific needs, and All Chem’s tank washing services ensure every tank is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before being loaded with a new shipment, securing the safety and quality of the chemicals.

Walking the Talk with Proven Results

All Chem asserts a remarkable level of customer loyalty, with numerous repeat clients opting for new transport lanes and businesses. For over a decade, it has not needed to actively seek new business as its strong customer relationships have generated consistent growth.

In addition, All Chem benefits from a steady stream of referrals from satisfied clients, allowing it to discover new prospects and broaden its service offerings. This demonstrates the exceptional satisfaction customers experience with its services.

"Every step of the process is meticulously planned and executed with the utmost care, from selecting the appropriate containers and tankers to ensuring proper safety measures are in place during loading, transportation, and unloading"

A recent customer success story perfectly illustrates how All Chem is leading the way in its field through exceptional service offerings. A water processing plant in New York City was in need of reliable transportation services. Its operations were entrusted to a chemical distributor that had won the contract many years before. All Chem worked with the distributor to determine the best course of action to service the plant and allocate necessary resources. For years, it provided drivers only on weekends, serving as support for the primary distributor’s fleet. But when the departure of a driver made a difficult-to-cover lane even more challenging, the plant turned to All Chem for a solution. Overnight deliveries were no easy feat, but it rose to the challenge, providing drivers with a specific schedule that made the entire delivery operation run smoothly.

  • All Chem specializes in the transportation of liquid bulk chemicals, both hazardous and non-hazardous, across 48 states and overseas. It also possesses the necessary operating authority, permissions, and hazmat registration to ensure safe and compliant operations

A Forward-Looking Vision for Transporting

All Chem’s growth is awe-inspiring, from its humble beginnings with just one tractor and a handful of trailers to a whopping fleet of 135 tractors and 450 trailers. It has become a prominent player in the ever-evolving trucking industry, always striving to stay ahead of the curve.

With a forward-thinking mindset, All Chem is constantly exploring new avenues for growth. From adopting renewable energy sources like solar power and electric vehicles to leveraging real-time updates for customers and expanding their electronic data interchange (EDI) capabilities, it is always on the lookout for innovative solutions.

The work is never truly done for All Chem. It is always one step away from embracing whatever the future holds.
